Thought-Provoking Learning Experiences
I regularly create and deliver original experiential learning sessions for academics at UK universities. I have expertise in creating evidence-based training programmes that draw on recent academic research, here are some of the courses I have created and currently or recently facilitated:
Creative Research Storytelling
Although research and storytelling are not always associated, storytelling is the key to connecting ideas to people. A compelling story hooks you and makes you want to hear more. A list of bullet points may efficiently convey information but when we want to go to greater lengths to unmask the rich details and give people reason to care, it is stories that provide the context for that richness.
Balanced Boundaries: Finding Harmony
A creative transformative experience designed to help you find harmony, manage boundaries, and cultivate overall well-being in your personal and professional life.
Life MOT
Experience the power of peer-to-peer coaching, a powerful tool for reflecting on all aspects of your personal and professional life, for problem-solving and building a network of supportive peers. As well as improving your communication skills, you will learn how to identifying and implement SMARTER goals for career and research progression.
What People Are Saying
Great #unilivimpact19 session today from @alysk and @LivResearcher on Blogging for Research, although I think I may have gone a little too authoritarian during the ideas generation session and created Conservation Conscription. Still, it's not a 100% terrible idea... pic.twitter.com/2TgdwMvnQZ
