Documentary Photographer

People

My portraiture approach is rooted in deep connection, presence, and collaboration. I don’t just take portraits—I create a space where people feel seen, comfortable, and empowered in front of the camera. Through careful direction and subtle cues, I guide people into poses that feel natural, expressive, and true to them. My aim is not just to capture an image, but to reveal something deeper—an essence, a moment of self-recognition, an unguarded truth.

Community

My community photography focuses on capturing authentic stories and lived experiences in diverse environments. I work with communities, cultural organisations, and public engagement projects to create images that reflect shared experiences, and make participation visible. Whether documenting citizen science initiatives, creative collaborations, or everyday moments of connection, my approach is always about centring people and their stories—not just taking photographs, but creating a visual dialogue.

Editorial

My editorial approach to photography is about storytelling through imagery—curating, sequencing, and presenting photographs in a way that amplifies meaning, emotion, and connection. I focus on how images work together to tell a narrative, whether in exhibitions, publications, or digital formats. My work often involves collaborating with communities, researchers, and cultural organizations to ensure that the visual story is not just representative, but participatory and reflective of lived experiences. Through careful selection and framing, I create cohesive, impactful visual narratives that resonate with audiences.
